Did you know that (unless there has been some VERY recent change) Native Americans are not citizens of this country? Can you believe that? That rates way up there in the insanity poll. What nerve! And I'm supposed to respect and follow that kind of thinking? I THINK
I HAVE BETTER SENSE THAN THAT!
Guess what? If you're not a citizen, you're
not allowed to vote.
So here you have it, the ultimate insult, the final punch in the face, to a people who shared everything they had with the NEW people who one day just sailed in.
Like locusts and cockroaches they came, raped, mutilated, stole, lied, killed, and then called US savages!
They have taken all there is
to take.
One would think that after all these years, history, and profit, they would have learned to at least share some of what they pilliaged. To the contrary, it is not enough to take it all, now they want to make sure the tribes don't make enough money to equalize. So in fear of being beaten at their own game, they have tried to put the skids on bingo, cigarettes, and now gaming. Still, it has become quite fashionable to wear "Indian style" jewerly, clothing, hair-do's, names, etc., Not enough to give anything back though, just taking on a smaller scale. And they "just don't understand why Native Americans aren't flattered by their attention". It's all part of the same festering insanity.
The same insanity that thinks one can own
the Earth. That animals don't think and feel, that they have no soul. That
everything is here simply for us to feed
off of.
Like a cancer, it grows by leaps and bounds until it has eaten away everything there is. Then stands alone and hungry, wondering why it is lonely.......until the day it starves to death. And all that is left is nothingness.......
